Over a period of fifty-seven years Mother and daughter, the two heroines of this wonderfully offbeat comedy, meet again and again at the ice cream parlor of their childhood. In nine dramatic and dynamic scenes, the two enjoy endless flavors of ice cream while living through important stages of life such as kindergarten, the first day of school, puberty, pregnancy, marriage, divorce and a retirement home.
